Moongrass

Moongrass, AKA Mosquito grass, AKA Blue Grama is ubiquitous on the southern prairies. Such a gorgeous gold with pods arching like the sliver of a moon. I took the picture this image is based on as we came out of Palo Duro canyon which Georgia O'Keeffe made famous. This cold wax and oil painting is done on Arches Oil paper and has a 2 inch border. It can be matted and framed or it could be attached to a panel so it stands out from the wall in a floating frame. We can discuss options if you would like a handmade floating frame.
